Today, local high school basketball teams along with surrounding counties competed in the Northeast Summer Shootout through The Lauderdale County Summer League Basketball Program.
Eight teams participated in today's shootout. Northeast, Southeast, West Lauderdale, Meridian, Kemper County, and Lamar were all in attendance this afternoon. The tournament will continue each Wednesday throughout the month of June, and it's all to benefit the student athletes come this winter.
