On the Monday before memorial day meridian plays host to hundreds of bikers as they travel all the way to Washington DC for run for the wall. An event designed to pay respect; and raise awareness of the fallen Vietnam war veterans.
On April 30th there will be a benefit poker run with proceeds going to feed the tired bikers as they make a stop in meridian.
The poker run will have bikers travel from the Chunky River Harley Davidson location to other key points in Mississippi; where lucky individuals can win prizes.
Henry Gruno who is organizing says they are expecting a huge crowd at this year’s run for the wall; so all money helps.
