Pedestrian Hit and Killed in Quitman.

Quitman, MS - A pedestrian was killed in an accident, in Quitman. It happened on part of South Archusa Drive.

Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Sunday, at approximately 7:49 p.m.

A 2010 GMC driven by 47-year-old Alari Mayfield of Waynesboro, MS, Yukon traveled south on South Archusa Avenue when the vehicle collided with 53-year-old Bryan Stone of Ooltewah, TN.

Bryan Stone received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
