Going into its 14th year; the Radio People and Meridian Community College job fair has proven to be a powerful resource for job seekers over the years.
General manager for The Radio People, Bryan Holladay says that the fair continues to grow stronger every year.
Holladay adds that the job fair has had a lot of success placing jobs; even in some cases on the same day. A fact that Katherine Olmedo hopes rings true for herself today.
Job seeker, Katherine Olmedo says that she previously worked in the Oil and Gas field as a document control lead while in Houston. She hopes to find a position that comes close to that work environment.
After spending roughly half an hour talking to different businesses; Olmedo actually ended up with a few strong job leads. More than she had before she says.
