All across the U.S. cities joined together for a time of prayer; as was the case with the city of Meridian.
Located on the city hall lawn; individuals prayed for government, law enforcement, and even the media. However, many came with their own personal prayers.
People prayed for the welfare of others and some said they simply wanted to yield to the will of God over what to do as a country.
The theme this year was Wake Up America, and featured prayers from many Christian denominations, as well as praise and worship music during the event.
