Today the city finalized plans to make needed repairs to Lakeview golf course.
Director of parks and recreation for the city, kelvin McGruder says there are also big plans for the future.
"We discussed this morning about the pump house. The irrigation system that pumps the water from the lake to the greens. We got that project off the ground and finalized. Talked to the council about some potential funding in next year's budget so we can redo the clubhouse, the golf course path, the driving range, and make sure the greens are real pretty to play on,” McGruder said.
McGruder felt the conversation with the city council today went well, and hopes to see the new renovations happen next year.
