The Lauderdale County sheriff's department makes an arrest regarding a stolen truck back on April 18th.
After investigating, deputies arrested 21-year-old Cordarius G. McDonald early this morning.
"An individual who was working at a construction site here was living in a trailer. Inside the trailer were the keys to a new a pick-up truck they had purchased.
The burglar broke into the trailer; where one of the items stolen were the keys to that truck, and was taken. The truck was recovered here locally three days after that." Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said.
Calhoun says after enough evidence was found, warrants were issued for McDonald's arrest earlier this month.
He’s charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft.
