Several local pastors in the area came together today to talk about the recent violence in the country. Reverend Gary Houston says he wanted to bring clergy together to discuss what to do next in light of the shootings in Dallas, Michigan, and Louisiana.
"It hasn't occurred in our city, and we don't want it to. So, this is the best time to have a real constructive conversation about race. Regardless of what ethnicity you come from, we need conversation among the African Americans, our caucasian brothers, Hispanic, Asian. It does not matter; we are a community," Reverand Gary Houston said.
