Two men suspected of kidnapping a person earlier this month have been arrested, police say. Lawalter Mitchell and Tony Kimble were taken into custody after police say an eyewitness came forward.
“Based on the witness’ information, I don’t want to go into details because the case is still ongoing and investigators are still trying to piece it together, they felt like they had enough evidence to charge the two people with kidnapping,” said Sgt. Dareall Thompson of the Meridian Police Department.
Police say the kidnapped person went missing on August 8th and still has not been found.
