For shoppers looking to save a few bucks, now is the time to snag a few items.
“Most retailers right now are stocking up for their fall and winter merchandise arriving, so that means summer merchandise is definitely on clearance. Everything from swim suits to flop flops to open-toed shoes, all kinds of summer apparel,” said Renee Williams, the general manager at Bonita Lakes Mall.
There are also great deals on mattresses and outdoor furniture.
“Patio furniture, lawn mowers, weed eaters, any type of outdoor use equipment or décor items,” said Williams.
Appliances and televisions also had sale prices.
“Football season is getting ready to kick off, so everybody got to have a big screen TV to come out and gather all their friends and watch the game on,” said Williams.
But she explained that shoppers may want to hold off on the technology until Black Friday.
“Definitely towards the fourth quarter of the holiday season, you’re going to see even deeper discounts on technology.”
She added that select retailers at Bonita Lakes Mall are currently hosting sidewalk sales.
