MSU Riley Center now sells tickets online

Chelsea Jones

After 11 years since opening its doors, the MSU Riley center has added a new way that patrons can purchase tickets.

“Here at the Riley Center we upgraded our ticketing software. Now we’re giving patrons the ability to buy their packages as well as renew their packages online,” said Box Office Manager Derron Radcliff.

Before the new upgrades, in order to purchase tickets, patrons had to either call the box office or go inside and wait in line. Now they can get tickets from the comfort of their own home.

“It was time to catch up with the 21st century, do what other venues are doing, and follow the ticketing trends,” said Radcliff.

Patrons can also print their tickets online and transfer their tickets to friends if they can’t attend a show. The ticketing system upgrades come at a suitable time. The Riley Center just revealed its new fall/winter season.

“Tickets went on sale Monday morning. We’ve had a very busy morning. But we also noticed a decrease in our foot traffic because of the online sales we have this morning,” said Radcliff.

Patrons have 12 shows to look forward to, starting with a Garrison Keillor performance on September 28th.

“They can expect a lot of sold out shows, a lot of excitement, and world class entertainment,” said Radcliff.

To purchase tickets, you can go to msurileycenter.com. There you will find a complete list of shows this season.
