Local cub scouts and boy scouts have kicked off their biggest fundraiser of the year selling popcorn. During a press conference Monday at Citizens National Bank, the Choctaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts said flavors include salted caramel, unbelievable butter, premium caramel corn, and more. The council said the fundraising goal is to sell $200,000 in popcorn. The funds will be used to help local boys pay for scouting uniforms, attend camp, and purchase equipment they need. Citizens National Bank supports the fundraiser by promoting it through digital billboard messages and radio commercials. To purchase some popcorn, you can contact a local boy scout or call or stop by the council’s office.
