Are you thinking about starting a small business? Or have you already started one but need help with on how to expand? If so, there’s a free, two-day entrepreneurship training starting this Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Sponsored by Mississippi Power, Strategic Systems Inc., and the Meridian Ministerial Alliance, the event will provide information on things like how to write a business plan and how to market your business.
“We’re also going to be talking about how you can get financing. There will be banks available like Citizens National Bank and other funding sources that will teach a small business person how to capitalize on such wonderful opportunities that’s happening in our community as well as in the state,” said Rev. Gary Houston, president of the Meridian Ministerial Alliance.
Up to 25 people can attend the training. The first session is from 8 to 2 p.m. this Saturday and the second session is next Saturday. To register, call 228-357-5492.
