Residents can expect to see some changes in city leadership soon. City of Meridian Community Development Director Bunky Partridge is set to retire in December. Partridge has been serving as the community development director since 2015. He was first appointed as the city’s public safety director in 2013, when Mayor Percy Bland was first elected. Before that Partridge was a former fire chief and 29-year veteran with the Meridian Fire Department. He says he has enjoyed working with the city and meeting the needs of residents. Wiley Quinn has been named the interim community development director.
