With cooler temperatures in the air… why not go for a run? The State Games of Mississippi is hosting its annual Pumpkin Run this Saturday at Bonita Lakes Park starting at 8 a.m. The fun, Halloween-themed 5k and mini 1 mil fun run is for all ages. Races are encouraged to wear their costumes, for a prize will go to the best costume. Children 12 and under can run in the “Mini Pumpkin” 1k and will receive free pumpkins. You can register on site. It’s $25 to participate in the 5k and $10 for the “Mini Pumpkin” race.
