Meridian, MS - As the Month of August is coming to an end, an annual event is set to return to the city of Meridian.
The community is invited to the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.
Participants climb, walk, or run the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
The event will be held at the Parking Garage at 712 24th Ave. in Meridian.
Check in will be at 5PM, and the race begins at 5:30.
Funds raised go to help local first responders in their time of need.
