Meridian, MS - Absentee ballots are now available for the upcoming November General election.
Circuit Clerks in all counties are asking the voters to make sure there will not be a conflict to vote on November 7th.
According to the Circuit Clerk, the most common legal reason to vote absentee is being out of town, having surgery, working an occupation who votes absentee on a regular basis, or if you work from 7am until 7pm.
If anyone is in college or working out of town, and needs an absentee mailed, you can call the Circuit Clerk office for procedures at 601 482-9731.
