Air National Guard Enhanced Recruitment Efforts.

Meridian, MS - The Mississippi Air National Guard is increasing its outreach efforts in local schools.

Lauderdale County Schools are also being impacted by these efforts.

Members of the 186th Air Refueling Wing in Meridian have been delivering indoor and outdoor banners to each of the four high schools in the School District. The deliveries are part of the Air National Guard's enhanced recruitment efforts.

“The sooner you join the better, you get an early retirement, and it’s just an all-around good to kind of start adult life.” says Tech Sergeant Bo Wilcher.
