Anderson Regional Medical Center Receives An Award For Its Heart Attack Care

In Meridian, Anderson Regional Medical Center received an award, recognizing the hospital for its heart attack care, for the second year in a row.

The Platinum Performance Achievement Award was awarded to Anderson Regional Medical Center by the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain MI Registry. Anderson is one of only 140 hospitals nationwide to receive the award this year. The award recognizes Anderson’s success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients by meeting aggressive performance measures as outlined by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.
