Annual Back to School Bash!

School is almost back in session and everyone is getting ready for the upcoming school year. Greater meridian health clinic held its annual back-to-school bash today. Providing all things necessary for children to start off the year great. Nurse Debra Graham explained why they hosted the event.


“Well, we are doing this to assist the parents to help get their children ready to go back to school.”


With COVID cases on the rise greater meridian clinics are providing all services one might need to start the school year.

“We are offering whatever is needed to help the children get back in school. We are offering immunizations for all ages, COVID vaccine for ages 12 and up, and also we want to be here to help prevent the spread.”


The Back to School Bash included immunizations, free school supplies bouncy houses, and face painting. Graham tells us their main focus for hosting today’s event.


“Our goal is to assist the parents and help them get their children to get ready to go back to school and also, we want them to go back fully immunized and everyone has their COVID-19 so that everyone can have a healthy school year.”


Even after today’s event graham states that they will still be providing services to get vaccinated and not just here at the clinic.


“We do a Monday -Friday we have different schedules, we are out in the community, we are here at the clinic. To get a more detailed schedule of where we will be and for the times you can always call Greater Meridian Health Clinic.”


Greater Meridian Health Clinic provides mobile services as well as personal events and pop-up locations to make sure everyone in the community has the opportunity to be vaccinated. Graham invites all to come out to get free supplies as well as immunizations. Donisha Branham twin states news meridian.
