Arrest made in Exxon Double Homicide

An arrest was made in the shooting that occurred on Thursday afternoon at a local Exxon on highway 19. Two individuals were shot at the gas station. Both victims were transported to a local hospital where they later died.

26-year-old Cordeyair Brown charged with two counts of 1st degree murder

26-year-old Cordeyair Brown turned himself in today for the shooting after Meridian police put out a notice that he was wanted for questioning.

Brown has now been charged with two counts of 1st-degree murder.

MPD has not confirmed whether the shooting was intentional or not, the investigation is still open.

The victim's names will not be released but police tell us that one of the victims was a juvenile.

Brown's bond has been denied.
