Today, Baskin Robbins of Meridian offered a special treat. 10% of each purchase will be donated to the upcoming Mississippi Children’s Museum in Meridian. Baskin Robbins is open until 9PM. The owner of Baskin Robbins, Hallie Swindoll and her family are a part of the Partner’s Organization for the museum and say this is their way of supporting the progress.
“We’re so excited to have this fun way to give back. You know, we need an excuse to get ice cream and this is just the cherry on top,” said Swindoll. “We’re thrilled that the Children’s Museum is coming to Meridian and we’re excited to be a small part of bringing it here. It’s going to be a great resource for the kids.”
“We have so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season at the Mississippi Children’s Museum-Meridian," said MCM Executive Director Liz Wilson. “Our construction project is well underway and we can see the finish line. Our construction crews are hard at work and we can’t wait to celebrate with the entire community.”
The new Mississippi Children’s Museum is located on 22nd Avenue and is expected to be completed in early 2021.
