Meridian, MS - With only 13 days until the election, Brandon Presley is traveling across the state to speak to as many voters as possible.
Presley tells Twin States News how he plans to win this race and become the next Governor of Mississippi.
“I’m going to be awake while Tate Reeves is sleeping, and I’m going to be where he is not. Our team is not going to quit working until seven o'clock on election day.”
Presley breaks down what he plans to do first if he wins the election.
“I think the most important issues in this campaign are expanding Medicaid to save our hospitals. To get two hundred and thirty thousand working Mississippians healthcare. Also, to clean up the corruption we have seen under Tate Reeves.”
Twin States also asked Mr. Presley about the recent poll that had him trailing Governor Reeves by one percent.
Presley said, “This race is going to come down to it and be very close. I think anybody recognizes right now that the race is tied up, but at the end of the day, we’re going to beat Tate Reeves. The people of Mississippi are ready to turn the page on the four years of him as Governor.”
Twin States News reached out to Governor Tate's office for a comment on the poll numbers, but we did not get a response.
Mr. Presley feels confident that he is going to win this election on November 7th, but he said he needs the people of Mississippi to do their part and vote.
