Valentine’s Day is the time to buy your sweetheart treats simply to say “I love you" and Carolyn’s Creations is gearing up for Valentine’s Day one heartbeat at a time.
“All kinds of food, if you can dream it, we can cook it," said Lori Judy, Catering and Event Manager at Carolyn's Creations.
Judy says compared to last year, their Valentine’s Day orders have gone up about 35% despite the pandemic and orders are steady rolling in.
“We’ve had a lot of orders for Valentine’s Day this year--smaller orders. Even our cake orders these days tend to be smaller just because people are having smaller parties. However, Valentine orders have been really good this year, better than last year.”

Another way to get your sweet tooth on this Valentine’s Day, Baskin Robbins helps the Junior Auxiliary with their 'Hearts for the Arts' campaign.
Purchasing one heart-shaped mini cake from Baskin Robbins this year, gives students art supplies they need during the pandemic.
“Baskin Robbins is donating proceeds from these little mini heart cakes sales, which matches perfectly with hearts for the arts especially with Valentine’s Day coming up.”
McGehee says there’s more of a need for supplies during the pandemic and the $5 donations from each cake will give the push that’s needed.
“...they can’t sit at the same table and use the same colored pencils, that there's more of a need in supplies in these classrooms.”
