A NEW CHILDRENS OUTPATIENT CLINIC IS NOW AVALIBLE IN THE MERIDIAN AREA.

Beyond Therapy, An Outpatient Therapy clinic dedicated specifically for children has opened their doors here in Meridian. They are the first private Out patient children’s physical therapy clinic in Meridian. The Director of the clinic tells us what prompted them to open here in the city of Meridian.
“We saw that it was a big need for the kids in our community, right now there isn’t a stand alone private pediatric clinic.”
The Director of the clinic tells us what makes them stand out from all other clinics in the city.
“We only offer services to kids, very play based and you don’t have to go to a hospital or any other facilities, we are right here.

The Director explains all services available for children.
“We cover a lot of diagnosis including autism, speech delays, cerebral palsy, down syndrome any kind of developmental disability.”
I asked her what were the ages of the children that they serve at the clinic.
“ So we can see kids from ages 0-18.”
I asked her to give an example of how a typical physical therapy session would go.
“Depending on what kind of therapy you are being seen for like for physical therapy we will work on your walking, gate training, we have an obstacle course a trampoline swings.”
With COVID in the works the Clinic also offers Telehealth Therapy. Telehealth is virtual therapy where children can still receive treatment from the safety and comfort of their homes while working with a therapist. The clinic is open from 8 am – 5 pm on weekdays
