The Choctaw Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America will host their 32nd annual Joe Brown Memorial Golf Classic on October 9th at the Briarwood County Club.
This tournament will help raise money for scouting activities and support all units throughout the six counties they serve. Teams of four are allowed to play and several sponsor slots are available.
“Like all nonprofits and businesses, it’s been a tough year for us so this is a big part of making sure that we can have a successful year financially in scouting,” Scout Executive CEO Ken Kencheval says. “Right now, I know people are looking for ways to support great things and scouting is one of those. We prepare our youth to be ready for times just like this--how to take care of yourself, how to help others.”
The sign up forms for the tournament are due no later than October 2nd. For more information, visit www.cacbsa.org.
