Meridian MS - Neil Henry, the Meridian Regional President of Citizens National Bank has been working with students in the Meridian Housing Authority’s Youth Program to teach them about financial literacy, "We’re teaching things about the dangers of debt, importance of credit, and overall, how to budget."

Gretchen Luvene of the Meridian Housing Authority feels this has made a positive impact in the student’s lives. "We’re so honored to be working with Citizens National Bank, they have led a seven-week literacy session for our students, all to help them be self-sufficient as they grow into be young adults"
Students Selena Steele and Sigorney Steele share the joy the program has brought them.

“You have the opportunity to do more, and basically don’t try to shut everyone out if you want to do better for yourself.” says Sigorney Steele
Citizens National Bank and the Meridian Housing Authority say they are glad to be making a positive impact in the lives of today’s youth.
