Meridian, MS - Meridian City crews finished working on a collapsed street this morning.
Crewmen repaired a hole at the intersection of Eighth Street and 39th Avenue, after a sewer line at the intersection collapsed.
The collapsed line caused the street to undermine and cave in.
Crewmen patched up the area this morning and said it should soon be back open to traffic.
