Meridian, MS - A heads up for drivers in Meridian: 14th Street and several blocks east and west of 10 Avenue are still closed because of a broken main water pipe.
Repair crews tell Twin States News that the pipe broke because of the weather.
The street buckled from flowing water under the asphalt, and it is not safe to drive in that area.
The crew fixed the pipe and is in the process of refilling the hole.
No surrounding businesses or homes were affected by the broken water pipe.
