City establishes Collapse Zone

The City of Meridian is establishing a Collapse Zone in which 25th Avenue between 5th and 6th street will be closed for public safety until further notice.

The city has not confirmed which building is in fear of collapsing, but it appears to be the old Young Hotel. More information on this matter will be given as it becomes available.
