Councilwoman Romande Walker pushes for donations for Third Annual Turkey for Teachers Drive

Councilwoman Romande Walker of WARD 4 and the Meridian Community are coming together show appreciation for teachers ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Councilwoman walker is kicking off the third annual Turkey for Teachers drive, allowing community members to buy a turkey or ham to be given to a local teacher for the holiday. “We need sponsors, we need people to come forth and donate turkeys, hams, stuff for teachers for the holidays, because they are forgotten servants.”
