Deadline To File Tax Returns Is July 15

Today was the last day to file your 2019 Mississippi individual income tax return and your federal income tax return.

The deadlines were extended to provide relief to people and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the three month long extension coming to an end, today was also the deadline for tax payers on a state and federal level to request an extension, which will allow them until October 15th this year to file their return. If you don’t file your tax return, you will be penalized with a late filing fee on a state and federal level.
