Meridian, MS - A Lauderdale County house fire that claimed one life is under investigation.
Authorities say 58-year-old Alan Akin died in the fire.
Akin is said to have suffered from mobility issues, having to use a scooter to get around.
The fire happened early this morning and is still being investigated.
