Downtown Meridian was filled with Halloween Spirit for the Candy Crawl.

Meridian, MS - Halloween may still be a week away, but the city of Meridian celebrated a bit early with its annual downtown Candy Crawl this evening.

The annual event gives children and their parents the chance to trick or treat at downtown businesses.

Community groups also set up tables along the Candy Crawl route in downtown Meridian, and there was plenty of candy on hand to pass out to the kids dressed in all kinds of Halloween costumes.
