Drive by parade to be held in downtown Meridian for Jamal Roberts

The city will be holding a parade and celebration for Meridian native, Jamal Roberts, recognizing him for his recent performances on season 10 of BET’s ‘Sunday’s Best.’

The drive by parade through downtown is scheduled to take place at 6pm on Monday, September 21, and the lineup will begin at 5:45pm at the Meridian Police Station. Parade attendees will then be able to drive by Dumont Plaza and celebrate Jamal Roberts. Social distancing will be enforced, and masks must be worn.
