Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Site Held In The Town of Lisman

Today, a free drive-through COVID-19 testing site was held by the West Central Alabama AHEC in the town of Lisman.

From 9am to noon, testing was conducted in the parking lot of the Lisman Town Hall. There were no requirements to be tested and patients were tested via nasal swab. Results are promised within 24 to 48 hours following testing. The testing is funded by the CARES Act and is coordinated through a partnership with Civil Air Patrol, UAB Infectious Disease, and Alabama Department of Health and Wellness Education Center.
