Dwayne Davis sworn in as new Ward 2 Councilman

Today, Dwayne Davis was sworn in as the newly elected Ward 2 Councilman of Meridian.

Davis was elected to the position in a special election on June 23rd.

“I thank the Lord for letting me see this day,” says Davis. I always put God first in everything I do, that’s first and foremost. If you get to know me, I’m a God fearing guy. I’m a easy guy to get along with and I love doing for the community. I’m going to take advantage of it, I’m going to try to do my duties as I see fit.”

Davis was sworn in by Judge Young on the 3rd floor auditorium of city hall at 2PM.
