ECCC's football season has officially come to a close

East Central Community College announcing that the Warriors football season is officially over.

ECCC’S last football game in its abbreviated six-game season, against Hinds Community College, that was scheduled for November 5, was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. It was also announced that the game will not be rescheduled.

In a statement, East Central’s Director of Athletics, Paul Nixon, said “after receiving additional positive COVID-19 tests and after consulting with our athletic trainers, it was decided that East Central Community College would not be able to continue its 2020 football season."
