ECCC Offers Training Courses Through The New ReSkillMS Program

In Newton County, the Workforce Development Center at East Central Community College in Decatur is offering short -term training courses to help Mississippians whose jobs have been displaced due to COVID-19, through the new ReSkillMS Program.

The training is being offered through December, with a goal to help Mississippians who lost their jobs during the pandemic, return to work. Through ReSkillMS, ECCC is offering the short-term training on the main campus in Decatur, and at the Louisville Career Advancement Center, Louisville Career and Technology Center in Louisville, the Integrated Technologies Center in Choctaw, and at the Philadelphia/Neshoba Career-Technical Center and Old U.S. Motors Building in Philadelphia. The training the program will offer includes certified nursing assistant, basic welding, construction trades, and more.
