Scooba, MS - East Mississippi Community College’s athletics has partnered with Ochsner Rush Health to be their new sports medicine provider.
They will provide EMCC with two full-time athletic trainers, who will help treat athletes across all sports teams during practices, workouts, games, and competitions.
An orthopedic physician will be present at home and away football games, as well as other sporting events.
EMCC Director of Athletics and Dean of Students, Sharon Thompson, says the main beneficiaries of this partnership with Ochsner will be the student-athletes.
