Meridian, MS - After five days, the search is over for an inmate who escaped in Lauderdale County.
According to the Point Coupee Sheriff’s Department, Ryan Young has been taken back into custody. Young, escaped from M-D-O-C in Meridian last Wednesday, and made it out of the state.
He was arrested in Port Arthur, TX this morning. Young is serving 40 years for burglary and theft.
He was sentenced in 2015.
