Former MPD Officer charged with fraud

Meridian, MS - Former Meridian Police Officer Tenesia Evans has been sentenced to time served and 3 years of probation.

Evans admitted to falsifying time sheets, claiming she was working when she was not.

She also pleaded guilty to working as a School Resource Officer and a Meridian Police Officer at the same time.

The felony conviction was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District.
