Former Quitman Football Player shot in Oklahoma.

Meridian, MS - Former Quitman Panther football player, Peyton Davidson, was shot and killed this weekend in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Davidson was shot Saturday morning, pronounced brain dead, and then later at 7:57 p.m. he was pronounced dead.

His father, Jason Davidson, is currently a Teacher and the Head Football Coach at Quitman High School.

Peyton graduated in 2021 and went on to play college football for Mississippi Gulf Coast the same year.
