Raising a teen with good manners could be very beneficial to their future. An organization is doing just that to help instill proper etiquette into young women of Meridian.

Girls With Pearls was started 6 years ago to teach young women the proper way to carry themselves, learn respect, and how to present themselves to others. Today they visited Meridian High School in hopes of passing on some of those values to the young woman of tomorrow.
“ Girls with pearls is a mentoring program that is collaborated by a group of young women of meridian Mississippi that’s here to collaborate with young women to be better people.” Stated Tabitha Adams- Jones, Founder of Girls with Pearls.
Girls With Pearls visits different schools throughout Meridian to teach young girls not only how to carry themselves but how important respect is for themselves and others.
“Girls With Peals teach you about self-love self-control, manners, respect, and how you are supposed to carry yourself as a lady and I feel great because I am learning a lot about myself and others.” Stated member Tavionna Mosey.
The previous mayor of meridian Cheri Barry knows all too well how important it is to carry yourself like a lady and shares the importance of her speaking today.

From learning how to sit and stand like a lady to how to greet people in a professional manner a member of girls with pearls shares a message for all young girls.
“I would give the advice on to stay strong you are beautiful even if you don’t feel like you are, love your body just the way you are, God made you special you are unique to everyone." Stated member Natasha Smith.
