Today in Neshoba County, the Pearl River Resort officially reopened the doors to its Golden Moon Casino, after being closed for more than 4 months.
Many guests were present when the casino officially reopened at 12 this afternoon. Anyone entering the casino must now have their temperature checked, and wear a facial covering that covers the mouth and nose. Sanitizing stations have also been placed around the casino to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

“We’re excited to be reopening. We’re certainly glad to welcome our guests back, our employees are ecstatic as you can see, they’re at the table games, they’re at the slot machines, they’re ready --and they’re poised and ready to welcome everyone in,” said Erica Moore, Director of Public Relations.
It has not yet been announced when the Silver Star Casino on the property will reopen.
