Gov. Reeves extends the "Safe Recovery" executive order through Dec. 11

Governor Tate Reeves announced the extension of the "Safe Recovery" executive order, adding Lauderdale County to the list of counties that qualify for additional measures, including mask requirements.
The "Safe Recovery" executive order was scheduled to expire today, but with the extension it is now set to remain in effect through December 11. According to a statement regarding the extension of the executive order, Governor Reeves said “I know that we are all tired and ready to move on. But the virus is still here.”

The governor also confirmed today, that his youngest daughter tested positive for the coronavirus . In a statement, Governor Reeves said “she feels ok, but could still use prayers!”
The governor has since said that he and his other daughters and wife have tested negative for the coronavirus.
