If you’re looking for a great way to get a head start on your Christmas shopping this year,
Twin States News Danny Todd reports you can do that all while helping support St. Jude Hospital at the same time this Saturday at Hickory Pick N Day.
Co-Owner of Hickory Pick N Shelby Harris says "We'll have 60 plus vendors outside, along with our 50 that's inside the store. We'll have food and we'll have music."

Shelby Harris tells Twin States news that there will be a lot of local talent performing. Emily White, Daniel House, The Reflextion Band, Allison Murphy, and Cody Murphy are just a few of those names. Hickory Pecan co-owner Eric Johanson is grateful for all the support.

Eric Johannsen-co owner of Hickory Pick N tells Twin States News "Without vendors, we don't have a customer. Without a customer, we don't have a vendor. And that's something we've said since day one. So it's just important for everybody to come out and support your neighbors, your friends that are coming to set up and sell their goods and wares. And we just ask everybody to come out and have a good family fun filled day."
Twin States News also speaks with some vendors and people excited about this event, and heres what they had to say about this event:
Karen Todd- Karen's Complete Beauty Care:
"As a business owner in this community. I love the fact that they highlight other businesses. Tanya, Shelby and Eric, and their entire family are great Christian people. My family looks forward to this event every year and invites all of you to come out."
Felica Runyon- vendor: Pilots Wife Boutique
"I always like coming to this event because it's just fun and it's supporting a business while everybody's also supporting other businesses that attend. And it's great because it's right before Black Friday and the holidays, so you can go ahead and get some of your Christmas shopping done."
Mike Dearing- American legion post 173
"Hickory Pick N is kindly donated us a vendor spot to sell stews for a fundraiser. And a veteran stew and a veteran fundraiser goes to help disabled veterans that are in need."
Shelby Harris is eager to raise money for organizations that help their customers. And that's why Hickory Pick N chose St Jude Hospital this year for an in-depth itinerary of Saturday's event. You can go to https://fb.me/e/29xsruadg or their Facebook page (Hickory Pick N) for more information.
