Honoring First Responders

In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Multi-County Community Agency gave out lunches to all first responders in appreciation of their services.
First responders including police officers, nurses and firefighter were all invited out to pick up a lunch on behalf of the Multi County Agency. Sheriff Sollie was grateful for the opportunity to enjoy the moment.
“We’re very honored that we’re being feed this meal today. The opportunity to take a moment to take a deep breath and to visit with folks on a happy moment. We certainly appreciate the opportunity to be here”, said Sherriff Sollie.

Miss Mississippi, Holly Brand was also there to show her support.
“I think it shows how far we have come but also have far we have to go ,and just to ensure that we are honoring those who again just make so many sacrifices for us from our military to our first responders.”- Miss Mississippi Holly Brand
Brand reminded us of what is important when remembering the 9/11 attack.
“I think it’s important for us to remember this every single year. To remember those who not only lost their life but those who served that day”, said Brand.
Multi-County thanks all first responders for the services and efforts in keeping the city safe.
