Hope Village asking for help to provide a special Christmas to their foster kids.

Meridian, MS - This holiday season you can be the reason the children at Hope Village enjoy a special Christmas.

The ‘Every Child Deserves a Home Sweet Home’ campaign is aimed to do exactly that.

Kathy Parrish at Hope Village tells Twin States News how people can donate.

“We have multiple ways for people to give. They can go to our website, they can give online. We have a Facebook and Instagram page. We have an Amazon wish list. We also ask for gift cards.”

Ms Parrish expressed why Hope Village is a special place to donate during the holidays.

“Hope Village is a therapeutic group home for children who are in foster care in the state of Mississippi. And so we become a home to them. As long as they are with us we become their family and their home.”

The Hope Village recreation center is in the middle of a renovation and they need help to fill it with things for the kids to do.

“We need equipment and outdoor play equipment and things for that. We are hoping to get that open by the end of the year, and filled with all kinds of fun things. We also actually do have an Amazon wish list.”

Gift card donations are the best option for the kids here at Hope Village because it gives them a chance to spend their own money.

The Home Sweet Home Christmas Campaign ends on December 15th.
