The City of Meridian came together to celebrate the grand opening of the new HYPE Adventures. After months of waiting, the ribbon was finally cut to welcome visitors to the 96,000 square feet park, which is the largest family entertainment center in the United States.
From axe throwing, to go cars--there’s something for everyone at the HYPE.
“We feel that this is a super center of family entertainment centers for smaller communities,” says President of Rockstep Capital Andy Weiner. “This will attract tourist, provide activities for family members to do from the entire region--150 to 200 mile radius will be the pull for this and we think it has a really strong future.”

Before you can enjoy activities, there are safety guidelines for both COVID-19 and physically. Everyone is required to wear a mask unless they’re participating in an activity. HYPE staff complete physical trainings to assist visitors as well as thorough cleanings.
One woman expressed she has enjoyed the park so far.
“I’ve done the race cars--amazing, fast and fun, rock wall, trampolines, the towers and its alot of fun,” says Catherine Moorehead.
If you missed the grand opening, the center is open seven days a week for loads of fun.
